The “St. Mark’s User ID“, also known as your Active Directory (AD) ID.
This is issued at time of employment at St. Mark’s along with an email address. The username is typically the first and last name of the employee and the email address is the username@stmarksschool.org (for example John Doe= username JohnDoe and email is johndoe@stmarksschool.org).
The password for this account can be changed by logging into a Windows PC, either the one that was provided by the Technology department or one of the kiosk machines (available in the library or faculty room).
Once logged into the machine, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and choose Change Password.
MacBook or iMac owners that have had their computer issued by the Technology department (these computers are configured specifically for our network) can also change their passwords by: Once logged in, Navigate to System Preferences, click on Users & Groups, select your account (this should already be selected by default) then Change Password.
NOTE: Computers/Laptops issued by the Technology department, must be on campus and connected to the school network (either by WiFi or Ethernet/LAN cable). Passwords cannot be changed off campus.
The St. Mark’s User ID is used for the following systems;
Kiosk computers across campus (login with your user ID and password)
Wifi registration of devices (login with your user ID and password)
Email / Google Apps (login with your email address and password at www.gmail.com, or your user ID and password at https://sso.stmarksschool.org)
Canvas (login with your email address and password) http://stmarksschool.instructure.com
WordPress (blogs.stmarksschool.org, log in with your username and password)
Minerva and Athena file servers (only accessible as full-fledged shares on campus, but available through the web anywhere at http://minerva.stmarksschool.org and http://athena.stmarksschool.org — these are going away in not too distant future, in favor of Google Drive). (login with your user ID and password)
“www2” (Weekend signups — mostly only for students, but faculty and staff use it to sign up for weekend duties at the start of the year) http://www2.stmarksschool.org (login with your email address and password)
Education/Financial Edge – (Users are mostly Staff employees) this system uses single sign-on, you should not be asked for credentials for this system. NOTE: You must use a Windows PC to access this system, you cannot logon using a Mac.
The “Lion Hub ID” and password, is issued by the Technology department, as they will provide access to lionhub.
Lionhub is a selfservice website. In order to retrieve your password, navigate to the Lion Hub logon screen (http://lionhub.stmarksschool.org) and click on Forgotten Password or User Id. An email will be sent with the users credentials. To change the Lion Hub ID password, logon to Lion Hub and click on Update Password listed on the left hand sidebar.
Faculty Websites(access to these sites require credentials other than the St Mark’s user id)
FAWeb- (faweb.stmarksschool.org) used for inputting grades and comments and also view advisors. The username and password will be created by the Technology Department. It will be provided with the new hire paperwork. FAWeb passwords (if FAWeb is accessed via link above)can only be reset via a helpdesk request. NOTE: Because LionHub uses single sign on, FAweb can be accessed via LionHub using LionHub credentials
NetClassroom-(netclassroom.stmarksschool.org)rarely used with faculty passwords as this site displays students grades, schedules and provides the ability for students to register for classes. This site is geared towards parents and students.
For faculty purposes- this site is used during registration period when Advisor sit with their advisees and discuss their potential new schedule. The username and passwords for the advisees will be distributed by the Academics office during the appropriate time.
LionHub-(http://lionhub.stmarksschool.org)used as an online portal for parents and faculty. LiohHub contains various links(that can also be accessed via Canvas) and for faculty lionhub consolidates the passwords for Netclassroom and FAWeb (also known as single sign on). Therefore through LionHub, FAweb and NetClassroom can be accessed without entering new credentials.
Miscellaneous systems access;
Raisers Edge – Currently this system access is managed by the Advancement group, please contact Amy Tesoro to request access. This system is used primarily by the Advancement group and has very limited access.
School Dude — (You will get directions for this the first time you click the link from the Canvas resource menu) this system is managed by the Facilities group, please contact Sandy Curtis if you need assistance. For additional information on logging in, click here.
Naviance – This system is managed by the College Counseling group (if you need access, Maria Galvin will get you set up)
CurricUPlan – This system is managed by the Academic Technology group (Please contact Seth Battis if you require access to this system)
Zendesk (Technology Help Desk) – The preferred method for opening a help desk ticket is through email, please email the request to helpdesk@stmarksschool.org, all requests must come from a valid St. Marks email address. To log onto the help desk system, visit https://stmarks.zendesk.com and select “login” on the top right of the page. An option to create a new password or reset an existing one will display.(please note: a valid St. Marks email address is required.
Boardingware – Access to this system is managed by the Dean of Students, please contact Stacey Lee to request access. This system is used primarily House Heads and weekend administrators to track the whereabouts of StMark’s students throughout the day and on weekends. Eventually, it will be used school wide.
