Scanning to Email:
- Place the document to be scanned on the glass or in the feeder tray
- If the copier screen is off, press Energy Saver button to wake it from sleep mode
- Press the Scan button next to the screen
- Log in using your St. Mark’s credentials
- Press the To: button on the screen
- Press Search
- Search by recipient’s name or email address, then press OK
NOTE: You can only send scans to St. Mark’s email addresses.
- Select the recipient
- Press Send
Scanning to Folder:
- Place the document to be scanned on the glass or in the feeder tray
- If the copier screen is off, press Energy Saver button to wake it from sleep mode
- Press the Scan button next to the screen
- Log in using your St. Mark’s credentials
- Select Scan to File
- Select Remote1 as the destination (It should be filled in by default)
- If you want to change the file name, press the File Name button on the screen and type the new name
- Press Scan button on the screen
Accessing scanned files:
Windows 7 and Windows 10 users:
- Click on the Start menu
- In the Search Programs and Files (Search the Web and Windows) box, type \\scandrop\scans\Your Netwok ID
- A new window should open up with your scanned files in it, if you are connecting from a machine that is not a member of the StMarks domain like your personal laptop, you will be prompted for your network user ID and password.
NOTE: Please move/copy these files to your system or network drive as they will be automatically erased after a few days.
Mac users:
- Open Finder
- At the top of the window, click Go, then select Connect to Server – A new window will open
- Type smb://scandrop/scans/YourNetworkID, then click Connect – A new window will appear
- Enter your network credentials to access the server.
