Boardingware Guide for Students

Students and families use our new online sign out system.

House Prefects, Tech Prefects and House Heads have all had introductions to the software.  In the next weeks Stacey Lee will be conducting Faculty information sessions open to all.  Ms. Lee will also reach out to our weekend duty Faculty to ensure all questions are answered prior to Saturday evenings.

At this point we will use Boardingware for student sign outs, overnights, sleepovers and special permissions.  Students will continue to sign out in-house for study hall and at Health Services for medical reasons.
Boardingware has great built in help features and we have also created the following resources:

Why is Boardingware helpful?

  • Faculty can view the leave status of all students and by house on one screen.
  • The application looks great on phones, tablets or computers.
  • Students can sign out from anywhere using a phone, tablet or computer.
  • When students request an overnight or a special permission their family is automatically notified and can approve from their own Boardingware account.
  • Students will be notified via Boardingware when requests are approved.  No need to wonder if their family has sent permission to the school.

As with any new software there may be challenges in our first few weeks.  Thank you in advance for asking questions and making suggestions as we adjust the program to our community needs.
