How do I make a PDF?

When you share your documents as PDFs, it preserves all of the formatting and presentation setup that you created on your computer, no matter what the setup is on the computer that’s reading your document. It’s harder to edit PDFs than a regular document, but they look exactly like a print-out of your document.
